Evan has published work on computer assisted language learning, presented research on second-person pronoun use in the linguistic landscape of a mid-sized city in Texas, and continues to research game related teaching in foreign language classrooms. He has taught French in a variety of contexts in the U.S. and has taught English in France to students in two vocational high schools near Paris.
